The Idee. reception desk designed by Angelika Seeschaaf  featured on Reception Desk World Blog

‘The office bound reception was manufactured for Idee‘s HQ in Paderborn, Germany. Angelika designed the desk to reflect the administrative hub of the company in the form of a stack of paper elegantly manipulated thus sculpturally dynamic. So ‘The Intentionally blank page’ may be devoid of content but it sure can speak volumes.’ Text by Neil Whiteleaf

The cultural Impact of Superstition

Design magazine article about superstition written by Angelika Seeschaaf, eeaa design London UK.

Published in mixinteriors magazine, April 2009:

…”Superstition is irrational, yet beautiful. It is culturally ingrained, yet hidden beneath the surface. It is prevalent in most western cultures, but often appears at moments of chance. We should treasure our superstitions as fragments of our history and culture and also because they are a vehicle for our wishes - they add an element of chance and poetry to our daily life. “

Mix Interiors magazine features the design profile of Angelika Seeschaaf and her new seating range for the office chair company Koehl in their January 2009 issue: ‘Koehl face – We chat with one of the coolest young designers around, and collaborator with the stars of design, Angelika Seeschaaf.’

‘…This is someone who likes nothing better than working with the engineers, understands production inside out. Someone who learned to weld at Bremerhaven shipyard. But don’t worry, Angelika’s also someone who talks about frog footed cutlery, and can wax lyrical about the cultural impact of superstition given half the chance. Read on…’
