We started the workshop with a very familiar material paper. This exploration helped to get the participants started into the design process.

At the end of the two week workshop the participants learned about the different light sources and how to use them. We also developed lighting design for the oudoors. After the first week avery participant had the technical skills to built a light by themselves and were developing their individual design ideas into a finished prototype that was exhibited at the end of the Sommerakademie.
